Stéphanie Lheureux is Director and Head of the Digital Assets Excellence Center at Euroclear Group, based in Paris. She leads Pythagore, a joint initiative with Banque de France to modernize the short-term debt market using blockchain technology.
She has an extensive experience managing & delivering innovative projects for Financial Institutions and Capital Markets, both with traditional and blockchain technologies.
Before joining Euroclear, she served as CPO of Lemonway, an European Payment Service Provider offering complex payment services for financial marketplaces, in charge of their core product (digital identity, payment and cash management) and web3 strategy.
Previously, Stephanie was COO of LiquidShare, a consortium founded by major European Financial Institutions in 2017 to develop and operate a blockchain-based settlement infrastructure for listed and non-listed SMEs. She was heading a team of product managers and developers responsible for building the multi-party application that connected asset managers, brokers, exchange, custodians and issuers to perform instant settlement of listed equities during industry pilots.
Before that, Stephanie was Head of Post Trade Innovation at Calypso Technology (now Adenza, part of Nasdaq Group) where she spent 14 years in charge of Post-Trade Product Management. Stéphanie headed a team of product managers responsible for managing and delivering Calypso’s range of products in securities services, clearing, cash management, cross-border payments and other post-trade cross-assets services. She was a founding member of Calypso Blockchain Accelerator group and in charge of Digital Assets initiatives.
Stephanie holds a master’s degree in Finance from Paris iX Dauphine University (2001) and a master’s degree in Capital Markets from IAE Grenoble University (2002).
