Alison Griffiths

Member of Parliament, Vice Chair, the UK Parliament Business & Trade Select Committee

In July 2024, Alison Griffiths was elected as the Conservative Member of Parliament for Bognor Regis and Littlehampton.

Alison is Vice Chair of the Business and Trade Select Committee and Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Shadow Business and Trade ministerial team.

In her earlier commercial career, spanning thirty years, Alison was an experienced strategist, Chief Marketing Officer, and Non-Executive Director, with a proven track record of delivering growth and transformation across FTSE/LSE-listed organisations, private equity-backed businesses, start-ups, and industry bodies. She has worked for global firms in financial services, consumer goods and energy, including Aviva and Coca-Cola, as well as SaaS-based technology businesses. She has also advised Government on FinTech and cybersecurity issues, and was named one of B2B Marketing’s Top Women in Tech.

Aged 19, in her first year at university, Alison lost 70% of her hearing following bacterial meningitis. She is now an Ambassador for Meningitis Now and has been campaigning for wider access to the MenB vaccine for those most at risk. Alongside her interests in business, technology, and cybersecurity, she is also a firm advocate for people living with disabilities.

Alison is passionate about sport, as a former ski instructor, enthusiastic tennis player, frequent sea swimmer, and keen sailor.
