Jill Schwartz is a senior investment banking executive with over three decades of experience leading global businesses across financial sponsors, capital markets, and derivatives. She is widely recognized for her ability to build and scale high-performing platforms, deepen client relationships, and deliver strategic solutions to the world’s leading institutional investors and corporations.
Ms. Schwartz currently serves as Global Head of the Financial Sponsors Group and Executive Vice Chairman within Global Corporate and Investment Banking at Bank of America, where she leads a global team of more than 100 professionals. In this role, she is responsible for the firm’s coverage of private equity and alternative asset manager clients across mergers and acquisitions, leveraged finance, and equity capital markets.
Previously, Ms. Schwartz served as Chief of Staff for Global Corporate and Investment Banking, advising senior leadership on strategy, operations, and regulatory initiatives across a business generating more than $25 billion in annual revenue. She also held the role of Global Head of Rates and Currencies Solutions, where she led a team of 135 professionals and drove consistent double-digit growth.
Prior to joining Bank of America, Ms. Schwartz held senior leadership roles at Barclays, including Global Head of Leveraged Finance and Co-Head of Global Debt Capital Markets and Risk Solutions, overseeing large-scale financing and risk management platforms.
Ms. Schwartz began her career at JPMorgan Chase, where she held senior roles across fx, rates, and commodity derivatives, advising multinational clients on risk management and capital structure strategies.
Ms. Schwartz holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and completed advanced training programs in sales and trading and credit at JPMorgan.
