Kristen Macleod is Global Head of Macro Distribution.
Kristen joined Barclays in 2017, after spending 14 years at Goldman Sachs, where she worked in foreign exchange in both the New York and Tokyo offices. Since joining Barclays, she has taken on roles as the co-head of Global FX Sales, Head of US Macro Sales and eventually to her current role as Global Head of Macro Distribution in 2024. Her responsibility encompasses Rates, FX and Emerging Markets with teams across North America, Europe and APAC. Kristen is currently a member of the Global Markets Management team and has served as an ex-officio on Group Exco in 2019. In her time at Barclays, she has also been involved in various mentoring, sponsorship, diversity and recruiting initiatives.
Kristen graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and a minor in Economics and German.
