Maria Sergeeva is a Product Development Manager at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), where she leads development and commercialisation of margin analytics and risk management tools. With over nine years’ experience in financial infrastructure and clearing services, Maria has a strong track record of delivering digital products, forging strategic partnerships and creating new revenue streams.
She is an active advocate for early-career talent and gender diversity in finance, contributing to LSEG campaigns and speaking at universities including Cambridge, Imperial and ESADE. Maria has co-organised graduate outreach events, moderated panels with senior leaders, mentored new joiners and engaged students through the Scottish Economic Society to promote careers in economics and financial services.
Maria holds a BA in Economics from the Glasgow Caledonian University, certifications from AIPMM and the CFA Institute, and was named a Rising Star by Women In Financial Markets (2022). Outside work she is an accredited Zumba instructor and is launching a community dance practice in London.
