Snigdha is the Head of EMEA Markets Growth & Initiatives for Bank of America based in London. In this role, she works across the company’s leadership and Boards to develop, implement and monitor the growth strategy for Global Markets businesses in region with a view to improving shareholder returns and better serving our clients. Snigdha also oversees all interactions with our local Regulators pertaining to Global Markets businesses.
Snigdha has 25yrs of experience across rates derivatives, trading management and large- scale operational transformation. Her roles have included Head of EMEA Rates Trading, IBOR Transition Lead and most recently Co-head of EMEA FICC Trading where she led substantial trading franchises through periods of market volatility, regulatory change and technological evolution. Prior to joining the Bank, Snigdha spent over a decade across multiple leadership roles at Lehman Brothers, Insight Investment and HSBC.
Snigdha is a member of the firm’s UK Executive Committee as well as EMEA Opportunity & Inclusion Council. She is an Executive Sponsor for the Bank’s enterprise-wide Culture & Heritage Network, and a Director on the Board of Mortgages Plc as well as the London Clearing House (LCH) Ltd.
Snigdha serves as a Trustee for CRIS Cancer Foundation UK and Chair for the GP Singh Foundation. She is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A), India. She is a past recipient of Financial News’ 100 Most Influential Women in European Finance as well as 20 Most Influential individuals in Trading & Technology citations.
