Aruna Parthiban is a senior executive with over 20 years of experience in financial services, specializing in investment operations, market structure, and strategic transformation. She currently serves as Senior Vice President at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she is part of the leadership team of the Bank Relationship Management & Market Strategy leadership team, and leads the Market Strategy vertical for the division.
Aruna has deep expertise across financial industry, market structure landscape covering and fixed income, equity and derivative products, including OTC and listed instruments, and has led large-scale transformation initiatives focused on operational efficiency, vendor governance, and technology modernization. Her strategic acumen and cross-functional leadership have positioned her as a trusted voice in shaping the future of investment operations.
She is a recognized industry leader, serving on the Board of Directors for ISITC and as Vice Chair of SIFMA’s Asset Management Group (AMG). In these roles, she drives thought leadership and advocates for post trade operations standards, regulatory advocacy, and co-leads working groups focused on market structure evolution and operational resilience.
Aruna is also the founder of the Investment Management Operations Summit (IMOS)—India’s first peer-connect forum for investment managers—expanding it to six sponsors and over thirty member firms. She continues to represent Goldman Sachs in global forums and serves as a senior escalation manager for external vendors, banks and counterparty relationships.
