Welcome Katie!
Katie Oliverio joined Point72 in April 2025 as a Senior Trading Documentation Negotiator on the Financing and Transaction Management Group within the Legal Department. In this role, she is responsible for negotiating agreements that support the Firm’s global trading business and advising the business on their uses and market practices. Katie ‘s work includes analyzing, negotiating and drafting a variety of complex trading agreements, including prime brokerage, ISDA Master Agreements, derivatives, repurchase, stock loan, futures & options and FX agreements.
Prior to joining Point72, Katie served as Vice President and Director of Risk for the Responsible Investing team at AllianceBernstein (AB). In this capacity, she developed and implemented a risk-based control framework to support the firm’s strategic responsibility initiatives and address the evolving ESG client and regulatory landscape.
Earlier in her career at AB, Katie managed the Derivatives Legal team, where she oversaw global counterparty onboarding, negotiated derivatives, prime brokerage, and repo documentation, and tracked global regulatory developments related to derivatives. She also held several leadership roles as Chair of AB’s Responsibility Risk Oversight Committee, a member of the Operational Risk Oversight Committee, Responsibility Steering Committee and Counterparty Risk Committee, and Co-Chair of AB’s Women’s ERG Synergy.
Before joining AB in 2015, Katie worked in the legal department at Barclays as part of the Prime Brokerage Contract Negotiation Specialist Group. She began her career in the Counterparty Risk Solutions department at S3 Partners.
Katie holds a BBA in Finance from Pace University.
